Distance Learning B.Sc Travel and Tourism Management

About the Program

The 3-year degree with 6 semesters is intended to introduce students to the travel and tourism industry, where they are familiar with tourism goods and how to produce them, market them and eventually sell them after promotion. In this course, Chandigarh University imparts management and planning skills with critical communication skills using distance education. Students may choose professions such as travel agents, hotel managers, or conference, convention, and event planners after completing the degree.

Eligibility

A person with +2 (any stream) from a recognized board is eligible for entry.

Duration

The minimum duration of the course in 3 years. There are 6 semesters.

Specialization

It is a single Distance Education Specialization Program by Chandigarh University. The student must choose a specialty from the three specializations offered at the beginning of the program.

Please note that once chosen, the specialization must not be modified.

  1. Travel Business (Group-A)
  2. Service Marketing (Group-B)
  3. Hospitality Management (Group-C)

Fee Structure

The total fees for the odd semesters are INR 14700/-. The total fees for even semesters are INR 12200/. The academic fees are INR 8950/- for both semesters. Registration fees are required for only odd semesters. The registration fees are INR 2500/-. Exam fees are required for all semesters and are INR 2000/-. The SLM Hard copy Charges are optional. The price of it is INR 1250/-.
